This requires a thick black hose pipe, Styrofoam (for under the hose), thick clear plastic sheeting (the stuff they deliver new furniture wrapped in) a little bit of plumbing and you will benefit with saving on your heating bill.

This involves placing a thick hose in a coil on your roof, the longer the hose the better. Its important that the coil of hose is sealed on the under side (between the roof and hosepipe) easy - the hose is very heavy its weight alone will seal in the heat. Once the coil is placed on the Styrofoam cover completely with the plastic sheeting. tuck the sheeting securely under the hose - wrap the hose shut so that it will trap the hot air.

The cold water that leads the your hot water geyser must now be diverted up to the hose on your roof. When the water is hot on a nice sunny day every time you open your hot water, then hot water will come from your roof directly into the geyser.

That means you don't need your electricity to heat that water, is that not simple

Renewable attitudes.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 272px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_kf85O6uqlII/Si5c5XEDcaI/AAAAAAAAASM/e6GQDXewe1E/s400/put-that-light-out.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345311948248674722" />
I am really amazed at some people that will destroy the environment with the ignorance of other people. Then again how many of us truly understand the impact. Is it possible for people to snap out of it, the mentality.

It does not help when governments around the world including South Africa, my home. They teach us very little about renewable energy at school. So as far as I can see nothing at all is been done to promote the use of renewable energy. Is it a case that governments are reliant on the incomes from grid electricity, this appears to be the primary issue to me. Think about how we pay for the electricity at home, at work, at the shops, at our schools, on the phone. The cost of electricity hides everywhere, and yet we know how to harness the power of the wind & the sun.

Currently in the western Cape, South Africa we use mostly nuclear power but not entirely. Anyway as it is well known nuclear energy is the best of all the evils. Still evil anyway. So the nuclear power is so great and so wonderful the powers that be have decided to go ahead with what they call " a pebble bed reactor" why do we require this? OK, because according to "BLA BLA bla" we will need to keep our supply at levels that can support industry. I wonder if our reactors will blow-up in 100 years time - but they said that Chernobyl was fail safe.

+-35% percent increase that's what we can expect from Eskom. Apparently South Africa is way behind on power tariffs and brains. I think that the tycoons that run bank, power companies and the coal mining industry etc.. a bunch of greedy pigs. And that goes for anybody and everybody (investors that demand high returns on investment) involved in artificially pushing power prices through the roof. In time it will cause riots in the streets of the world, and money won't be worth a thing.

Well it all boils down to money in the end. You get yourself a home, automatically you will get a bill for electricity. Great stuff, we must pay. Or do we need a new attitude and an awareness for what damage we are creating by using dirty energy (Any energy that costs money).

Do it yourself wind generator, windplans free electricity.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 366px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_kf85O6uqlII/SiZKDoO-N_I/AAAAAAAAARM/xDqT5erw4vo/s400/domestic-wind-turbine.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5343039434121951218" />

Renewable energy, wind & solar energy is the obvious choice. This is the ideal solution for cash strapped homes to liberate their pocket books from the menace called the power companys.

What is it that we should care about. Should we leave a pile of cash for our children to inherit. Or is it our duty to give them a clean, sustainable planet with the mentality that goes with it & the pile of cash. Whats really amazing is that we are forced to consume dirty energy, and pay for it.

Man, what a bunch of fools they have made of us.

I have lived my entire life with technology, its the comfort of our age. I can also say that I am directly responsible for quite a big carbon footprint (Due to ignorance). For some reason some bright sparks in the past decided to use coal etc... to light my way through life and charge me for it, HA. I think that we should all do our best to change the errors from the past and then never to repeat those mistakes.

We can say that it costs to much to install a wind generator & solar panels Blah Blah Blah... But what if the solution is to take some of your precious time and "do it yourself". And I mean build it yourself. That's right you can make your own solar panels and wind turbines - cheap. Then you can take all the money you save "because you use renewable energy" and pay your bond off, or waste your money somewhere else. Buy a holiday whatever - take it easy.

I believe that every home has the ability to "generate" its own self-sustainable electricity.

The very same process that dumped pollution into our environment has brought with it the ability to remove that pollution. All we have to do is not use dirty energy - SIMPLE.

After all, we have an abundance of FREE energy. It's all around us.

"STOP PAYING FOR ENERGY THAT DESTROYS YOUR BANK BALANCE AND THE PLANET THAT YOU CALL HOME.

If you don't understand that simple statement, then your children will. So have a LOOKHERE and see if you can do something.

EASY TO READ WIND GENERATOR MANUALS.

You have been saying it's a good idea for years!. BUT just could not afford the high costs involved.

So you have tried it the lazy way and discovered to your horror that it's going to cost your kids college fund to make your home run off renewable energy. When you get somebody to install renewable energy for you it means that you are rich. Ok thats cool but if for what ever reason including being poor you need to do it yourself this is the way to go.

YES! you will understand these "easy to read" manuals. If my great grandmother had these manuals, my family would be using renewable energy for the past 100 years. It's real easy to understand and you don't have to reverse engineer the big words with google. These manuals explain everything in detail, in language that a housewife will understand. Besides these projects get the whole family involved.

Here is the first ten pages free, have look. Reader friendly and to the point.
